NOVEMBER 24, 2010 WEDNESDAY: Japan to release their own Korean Hoot album!

Why Not... Is taking advantage of the innocent wrong? >=D

If you don’t understand… Japan will be getting a ‘Hoot’ album release, but it will only be the Korean versions of the songs. No new tracks, no new versions of songs, nothing we haven’t heard before. But a Japanese album-jacket and a DVD of the Ariake Showcase will certainly make people want to buy it! (;___;) The tracklist will be the same as the Korean Hoot, but will also contain an additional 6 bonus tracks (namely the promotional songs).

There are 4(?) versions:

Premium(?) Edition: [CD + DVD] – 3990yen

Regular Limited Edition [CD + DVD] – 3200yen

Normal Edition [CD + DVD] – 2500yen

CD – 1800yen

[The DVD contains the Ariake Showcase from August, as well as the HOOT mv.]

I’m not too sure what the difference between the first 3 versions are other than being ‘limited’. We will update this post as we find out more.

Sigh, #lifeofasone is a broke one right? I’m personally really looking forward to the Ariake showcase release, as it’s pretty much a mini-soshi concert. Until SM decides to one day give us ITNW bluray or something *fingers crossed*, this will have to do. (and no, I don’t know when that might be. It could be in the next lifetime =_=).

It also seems that they were really going for upbeat and catchy tracks with the bonus content, but I think they’re undervaluing the power of ballads. Maybe I’m just a sucker for them, but Star Star Star and Mistake both proved to be strong contenders upon album release. It would’ve been nice to see Star x3 and Complete included, or maybe even some of soshi’s selddomly promoted songs that are a bit different.

Either way, this is a good chance for Japanese fans to indulge in some SNSD goodness with a mini-’best-of’ (imo) type of album. And SeoTae? Why not! The leaadaa is a cheeattta.
