On February 2nd, 2011, SNSD’s 3rd Japanese Single ‘Oh!’ will be released. ‘Oh!’, the title track of SNSD’s 2nd full studio album (Korean) which was released in January 2010 has the type of rhytm and melody close to those of Jpop songs and thus, it is regarded as the Japanese fans’ most favorited song.
According to SM Entertainment, SNSD’s ‘Oh!’ is also the most popular among Japanese fans where there were cosplays and covers on YouTube.
Due to the widespread of the SNSD Syndrome in Japan, SNSD are hoping to top the Oricon Weekly Chart with the release of the promising 3rd Single, ‘Oh!’.
Prior to the release of the 3rd Single, SNSD will also be releasing the Japanese edition of the 3rd Mini Album ‘Hoot’ on December 22nd. On January 25th and 26th next year (2011), SNSD will be participating in the ‘SM Town Live World Tour’ at the Tokyo National Yoyogi Gymnasium.
